How To Maximize “Unique Article Wizard”

If you’re doing anything based on rankings and search engine traffic, then you need backlinks. But the days of easily “bulldozing” your way to Page 1 with a zillion “profile” links or blog comments are gone. Google’s February 2011 “Panda” update has re-written some of the rules, such that your backlinking efforts need to be more considered and intelligent.

Specifically, “link diversity”, relevance, and position have become much more important. In this post, I’ll touch on all three of these attributes, talk about one of the best tools for ranking in this ‘new world’, and give you a free report on how to best take advantage of it. The tool I’m referring to is “Unique Article Wizard”.

Unique Article Wizard (“UAW”),  is an extraordinarily potent resource, and if used properly, can boost your rankings all by itself. I used to refer to it as my “secret weapon”, having used it countless times to achieve top rankings for page after page after page.

Mike Long, one of the very sharpest and most successful marketers in the industry, has done case studies for his and Kelly Felix’s awesome “Bring The Fresh” course demonstrating overwhelming Page 1 dominance using only UAW.

The report discusses the reason behind UAW’s effectiveness, and how to best take advantage of it; you can download it here: http://adsense100kblueprint.com/100kdocs/UAW-report.pdf

In case you’re not familiar with it, Unique Article Wizard is a subscription service that spins & distributes your articles to a network of blogs, web sites, and article directories. You provide 3 different ‘copies’ of your article, UAW then ‘blenderizes’ them, creating ‘unique’ articles by putting together pieces from each of the three articles into different combinations. It then sends a different combination, or ‘unique’ article, to each site in the network. Your links appear in the ‘author bio’ or ‘resource box’ at the end of each article.

UAW isn’t the only article syndication service, but it’s definitely one of the first, and as far as I’m concerned, remains one of the best. As with any syndication or submission/distribution service, much depends on the network that your content will get distributed to. UAW has a strong network of article directories and blogs. Because they’ve been around for a while, there are a lot of webmasters who use the ‘flip side’ of the service by signing up to receive the articles, allowing them in essence free, ‘original’ articles to use on their sites.

Link diversity has long been an important aspect of SEO, however with the “Panda” update, it’s become critical. Not only do we need backlinks from diverse IP’s, but increasingly want those links to be editorial, or “in-content” links. Since the syndicated articles will appear on blogs, the ‘resource box’ or ‘author bio’ links become in effect “in-content” links.

In a subsequent post, I’ll be looking at Brad Callen’s SEOLinkVine, a somewhat similar syndication service, but one with an important ‘twist’: the network of syndication sites is a private network, which means – in theory, anyway – better control over content, and higher-PR sites.
